The ladies are entertained on the top floor with outdoor spa's and areas for dining, tea, and breath-taking scenery. Niches were hand painted and told the story of Marco Polo's travels through they eyes of an Italian artist. Every room had a view of the mountain ranges and rivers that crisscross this beautiful part of the world. Great attention was paid to detail and grandeur of this traditional estate called Hill Top's Garden.

A New Concept Retirement Development located in the Shanghai suburb of Zhujiajiao Ancient Water Town. This is the Sales Development Center including a Tea Room/Bar, Sales Office, VIP Sales room, Activities Center, Lobbies and Areas associated with the Village Development. This was Installation only keeping in mind that it was for Shanghai Retirement Community using paintings, lighting, colors and vintage Chinese pieces of reference to make the new members and owners feel a sense of home and history.
Small retirement apartment for an elderly couple located on the Tide Health Land Campus. The husband still works as a consultant and has small office that opens to the Master Bedroom with sliding wall height doors. They like comfort and the ability to move through the home easily and to be able to entertain family, guest and clients.

Corporate Headquarters for a Family owned high-end automobile dealership business. A complete remodel, in the downtown area of Amarillo Texas, to represent the industry and their mobile growth upward. The Art Collage was by Cynthia Leftwich which told the history of the Janie Corporation Family Business. The design was about movement and materials in the industry from raised rubber floors, fine burled woods, stainless steel, cast glass to slick automobile finishes.
Condo Build-out for Prominent Television Personality for her days when filming in Beijing. Young, Contemporary, Light, Open, and Glamorous was the criteria for Blue Hills.
A beautiful renovation of a country club estate in the middle of the Mission HIlls Country Club. The home has five spacious floors over looking a lush tropical fairway from the back patio. This renovation was planed and designed by Cynthia Leftwich, through the ITM office in Beijing and under the watchful eye and guidance of our discerning clients. It was one of those jobs that you look forward to visiting.
Chinese influence for a Contemporary Four Story courtyard style Townhouse in Shanghai. The Architectural interior design was done by Looney & Associates of Dallas. The Floral arrangements were completed on site by Kevin Nichols of Dallas.
American Influenced single level condo with four bedrooms and four and one-half baths. The concept, space planning, and design were from Looney and Associates of Dallas, Texas. The installation package was completed by ITM Design LTD., Beijing.

The Club House interior design was started in 2010. The work on the Club House included complete Architectural Interior Design of the Club House including all interior mill-work, finish selections and working with local contractors. Completed renderings, color boards, drawings, sketches, cad drawings, and selected materials both in the USA and China. This is a compilation of the project as we completed our portion of the work and turned it back to the owner and new management. Interior architectural design was by Cynthia Leftwich, with the architectural/engineering consulting & cad work by ITM Design LLC, Beijing, and JDMA Architects, Texas, USA. Water color renderings were by Architectural Illustrator, Michael Lungren of Dallas, Texas.
This home was built in the late 30's during the Art Deco period which directed the interior design. The informal dining, family room, and master bedroom & bathroom were added to the original home. The owners are avid art collectors and they travel extensively so they were not only interesting to design with, they also shared their art collection. They had unusual contemporaty pieces, indegineous art pieces from their travels and we were able to to incorporate all of this into the installation. They also love to entertain and now have multi-functional spaces to create unique dinners or impromptu parties for their friends and family.
The Day's live a relaxed ranch life-style filled with travel, entertaining, family, large parties, and a love of people. They share their home often, and as such, we kept everything as open as possible so that friends, and groups could move effortlessly from space to space and room to room. The styling is a combination of Ranch and Mediterranean and is appointed with their family furnishings & collections.
This Town-home was a complete renovation, raising floors, completely remodeling bathrooms, new floors, finishes, lighting and ceilings. The client vehemently stressed clean, contemporary and abstract art.
Complete renovation of a downtown office building into a design studio, art atelier, and home. Two stories, as open as possible with as much of the original material as usable. The building was designed with the principals of Feng Shui and was done in conjunction with a trip that I took to study Feng Shui in China in 2000. I took my plans and gratefully our group leader invited several Feng Shui experts to look over my plans, make changes and suggestions. Then a day later we met with a translator and they gave me instruction on how to correct energy and spacial problems with in the space and how to make the set-up auspicious to my Ming Qua. It was all very interesting and informative. This also helped me upon my return to work in China in 2009.
For this home, our team, worked with the builder to configure all of the space planning, design all of the mill-work, and to specify all the material and finish selections. We also designed the lighting, selected the light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, hardware and all decorative iron work including front doors. Two room installations were completed by us. We also worked with other interior designers on their installations, when needed, and the Lubbock Symphony Guild throughout the process. The style was Mediterranean with a West Coast influence.
Great Mansion Project in Shanghai. The model was done in 2011 with a focus on contemporary styling using saturated colors. These photos are the lower level portion of the condo.
This is a contemporary renovation opening the kitchen & breakfast bar to the family room to enjoy the park view. The client's focus was also to be able to enjoy the scenery of the park lake while cooking. Relaxed, warm, inviting and a fun place to enjoy the grandchildren.
As one can see, this home was one of a well traveled couple. The home of a cotton merchant, retired to a country home where they opened Haute Goat Creamery and produced award winning cheeses. The look was warm, relaxed, and inviting, but most of all animal friendly to dogs, cats, goats and occasionally a tiny horse. The floors were stained concrete, with faux finished walls, glass block windows and leaded glass to create artistic patterns, along with unique lighting to show the beautiful collections of crystal and china. Open and entertaining for wine and cheese tasting while living a charmed life.
